These compact, easy to use umbrellas feature a button on their handle that when pressed will automatically open the umbrella, freeing your hands for carrying other things or making it easier to open as you exit your vehicle. The same button then will close the umbrella, a feature I find very useful as I'm getting in to my vehicle from the rain!
This model of automatic umbrella works the same as many others, using the compression of the springs inside to power it's features. This version though is much easier to enable than others; I have found you don't need nearly the same muscle power as other, more expensive versions!
